Research interests
I am interested in the interplay between mathematics and physics, in particular in quantum mechanics. My research focuses on the role of- (Quantum) integrability and quantum groups
- Representation theory
- Special functions, in particular elliptic functions
- Spin chains, in particular those with interactions that go beyond nearest-neighbour.
- The AdS/CFT correspondence, in particular the spectral problem, deformations and correlation functions of maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory
- Calogero-Sutherland and Ruijsenaars-Schneider models as well as related quantum many-body problems.
Representation theory seminar
Since October 2023 I have been running a study group/journal club/seminar series on representation theory aimed at applications in physics. We discuss various topics that go beyond a typical group theory course, such as Young diagrams, quantum groups, triality and the plethystic program.
